Any student that has just started at one of Bath’s two universities has a new city to call home. Bath has a lot to offer, from fantastic nightlife, delicious food, and historic hidden gems, so get out there and start exploring it all. We all know University is expensive, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get to make the most of the student experience. So, we have rounded up the best student deals in the city of Bath that we could find for 2022.
Putt, club and drive your way across the 18-hole adventure course. Situated in Victoria Park, with a view of the Royal crescent as a backdrop, have fun negotiating the humps, bridges and waterfall which will challenge even the most ‘Rory’ of putters. Over the festive period, they offer Glow Golf where you can play your favourite game with glow-in-the-dark balls surrounded by a fairy light lit course – just magical! Tickets cost £6 for students (prices may be different for Glow Golf).
American Museum & Gardens
The American museum features room-sets, collections, a gallery and temporary exhibitions, for you to discover the history of American life. Set in 125 acres of landscaped gardens there is plenty to explore y’all! Students get 50% off admission price with a valid student ID.
The Bath Brew House
The Bath Brew House have been serving up the freshest beers in Bath since 2013, with the cool quirk of having the brewery located onsite - they really know their stuff. Also offering classic pub grub and a beer garden for when it’s very occasionally sunny. City pub group offers 10% off of drinks and food for students every day of the week, you just need to sign up on their website.
For all the amateur sleuth’s and novice detective’s out there, Bath Escape offers detective tours around the city of Bath, and a number of live escape rooms. What better way to get to know your new flat and course mates, than working together to solve the puzzles and crack the code. Offering £10 off of games and tours on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays, with a valid student card shown on request.
Bath Fashion Museum
Students get a slightly cheaper ticket price to Bath’s Fashion Museum. Visit to discover fashion through the ages and scour the vast collection ranging from historical pieces worn by those from the time of Shakespeare to the contemporary Dress of the Year collection. Bath Ghost Tours
If you’re brave enough, you can go on one of Bath’s ghost tours. Guided by Brother Fergus and Doctor Lynch, they take you to some of Bath’s most haunted locations to carry out some paranormal experiments and learn some of the city’s gruesome history along the way. Bath YMCA Health & Wellbeing centre
This spacious gym offers an all-inclusive student membership for £25 per month, on the production of a valid student ID card. This gives you unlimited access to the gym, all classes and PT sessions every day of the week. Even better still there is no contract, so on those months where your workload increases (or maybe your going-out load), then you don’t have to do a Chandler, and you can quit the gym! All the while, any money they raise (outside of gym upkeep/running costs), is donated back into the YMCA’s other community support projects, so you can work-out, whilst helping-out.

Top notch barbers, offering a premium haircut that isn’t rushed. Student can enjoy a discounted cut for £20, which includes a hair wash and 30-minute appointment, so you can relax, unwind, and end-up looking dapper.
Students can get up to 30% discount off all journeys, just by showing proof of a valid photo student ID on every journey, such an NUS card, University ID card, or international Student ID card. Bath University’s U1 bath runs every 6 minutes during term time, and Bath Spa’s U5 and U6 buses runs every 15 minutes. Download the app and check their journey planner to get started.

Hailed as Bath’s most famous resident, the Jane Austen Centre offers a snapshot of life during regency times. The centre is located on the same street as the novelist last lived in Bath, where she spent many years gaining inspiration for her writing. Student tickets are £10.50 each.
Eventually all students will need to do some sort of studying, so take advantage of John Smith’s 15% discount and free postage offer on books, texts and recommended reading lists. They are affiliated with The University of Bath, and you need to log-in on their website to claim the offer.
For live entertainment in Bath, Komedia is the place to visit. Offering comedy, cabaret, club nights live music, and everything in between. Residents Discovery Card
This card, only available to Bath residents (which you now are), provides discounts on a number of Bath attractions. Head on over to the website to check out what offers are available. Apply online, and then show your proof of ID and residency when you collect your card.
The Roman Baths
